Vintage Christmas stocking is a green burlap stocking with a Santa Claus applique on it and a red heart near Santa's feet. It is a Xmas stocking ornament, made in the late seventies, coming from my personal collection.If you love vintage Christmas decor, you're gonna love this Santa stocking.
This is a piece of emerald green burlap, still in very good condition, it is only a little faded through the years.It features an applique Santa, bearing gifts. A smiling Santa, done in a child's illustration style.On the top of the stocking, near its rim, there is a red cord, threaded all around the stocking from which it is hanging.From this red cord you can hang it on your mantel, or your tree or your front door wreath.This is a hand made stocking and applique from the late seventies.
The vintage, Santa stocking measures 20cm in height x 16.50cm in length (7.87'' x 6.49'').It is very light.It is mostly decorative, unless you stuff it with some really tiny things or papers.
