Blue worry beads is a decorative set of worry beads, a table worry beads set.These are cobalt blue, vinyl worry beads with a white tassel.A vintage, Greek worry beads set, made in Thessaloniki in the late eighties.
These beads would often hang on tavernas' walls or in coffee shops, to be used by revered customers sometimes in the old days.At home, they were usually placed in the coffee table for decor.
This set of beads is made of
oval, vinyl beads in royal blue, or cobalt blue.They also contain a white colour, some beads more than others and they have a marbled effect of the white colour mixed with the blue.
There are eighteen, blue, vinyl/plastic beads on this worry beads set.The set was made with a thick, cotton cord, also used to make the long tassel.
Between the plastic blue beads there are small, alloy, oxidised metal beads, used as spacers.
This set was made for decor only. It is a very common, coffee table decor item in rustic, Greek country homes.It is a beautiful, Greek folk art piece of the late eighties.
It measures about 51cm in length (19.68''), an average, vinyl, oval bead measures about 2cm in diameter (0.78'').It is not heavy.This vintage, worry beads set is in good, unflawed condition.Just the alloy beads have been oxidised with time.
