Vintage Italian espresso coffee maker is a seventies, stovetop coffee maker, given to me by an Italian friend, who brought it with him from Italy and taught me to make espresso coffee with it.
I soon replaced it with newer models with larger capacity for liquid, but still hang on to this adorable coffee maker for its cute, retro looks and style.
It is a standard stovetop, gas or electricity, coffee maker, that can make two small coffees or a larger one. It is made of aluminum and has the most endearing, black handle, which is hard to come by nowadays.It looks like a girl's ponytail.
Italians say that you never soap wash your coffee maker.Only rinse it very well after each use.If you do wash it with soap, it would be best to rinse it as well as you could and then throw the first coffee you make away and make a new one to drink.
This coffee pot has seen some use and is still working.It is in very good, vintage condition.It measures about 16cm in height x 11cm in length (6.29'' x 4.33'') .
