Froggie plastic jar is a vintage plastic container, a frog shaped storage kitchen pot.It's a plastic lidded cup, made in the early eighties in Greece.It used to be sold with some vanilla gooey candy inside.The frog shape made it more fun for kids and grownups alike and the kids got to play with it afterwards, or use it as a cup.
It has the size of any regular cup, but it has a lid too, that fits beautifully.The lid carries the frog eyes, which are lie two beads on the lid cover.One eye is open with black paint and the othrer one closed as in a wink.The lid is round, like a frog's head.All of the cup is a round form, like a ball.The slim handle on the side is like an arm and hand.The actual pot has the rest of the frog face painted on with two pink cheeks and a smiling mouth with a pink, licking tongue, as after great pleasure from tasting the candy.
This little, froggie vintage pot is only painted on the fron t side.It comes in a bright, lime green colour and it white inside.It is in very good, vintage condition.
It measures about 10cm in diameter x 11cm in height.It is not heavy.Without the lid, it canbe used as a cup.
This is not a toy for toddlers.Do not give to small kids unsupervised.
Wash by hand.
