Vintage native American figurine is a resin figurine of an Indian brave with a long cape on horseback. It is a native American folk art piece, a lovely, collectible sculpture, made in the early nineties.It is in good, vintage condition,without flaws, just the passage of time.
It features an Indian brave in a winter scene, as he is dressed in winter clothes.
He is sporting a lovely, long cape in a faded, beige colour.The cape is decorated with native American designs and patterns in brown and turquoise and its neckline is lined with a thick, brown fur.Underneath the cape, this native American figurine is wearing a red dress and probably pants that cannot be seen, due to the long dress and cape.His long boots are festooned with series of fringes.
His head dress is of the typical feathers and braids.On his right, there is a quiver and bow, under his leg.He is holding the reins of his horse and is looking far in the distance.His look is sad and thoughtful.The reins are made of alcantara cord with a very neat, feather detail on the left.The ground is uneven and the horse seems to be treading on snow, amidst broken twigs.It is a lovely brown horse with a black mane.Its head is lowered in a pond or river from which it is drinking water.This Indian brave figurine is an unbelievably neat sculpture, a gorgeous folk art item.It measures 26cm in length x 31cm in height x 11cm in width (10.23 '' x 12.20 '' x 4.33 '' ).It is not very heavy.
